Meet the Board: Dana DePalma
Downtown Ortonville thrives because of the dedicated individuals who work behind the scenes to support and grow our community. This month, we’re excited to highlight one of our passionate board members, Dana DePalma, whose leadership and dedication have made a significant impact on our town.
How Long Have You Been Involved with the DDA?
Dana officially joined the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board in February 2025, but her connection to Ortonville’s downtown scene runs much deeper. For over 15 years, she has been attending DDA events, supporting local businesses, and engaging with the community. Her long-time involvement and appreciation for the DDA’s work inspired her to take on a leadership role to help continue its mission.
What Do You Love About the Community?
For Dana, Ortonville’s charm lies in its small-town feel and strong sense of connection. She loves shopping at downtown stores, attending community events, and, most importantly, the friendships she has built along the way. “It's nice to always see someone you know,” she says, highlighting the warmth and familiarity that make Ortonville such a special place to call home.
What Do You Hope to Accomplish as a DDA Board Member?
As a member of the DDA Board, Dana hopes to contribute to the continued growth and success of the community. She is committed to helping the DDA provide valuable services to both residents and businesses, ensuring that Ortonville remains a thriving, welcoming town for all. Her dedication to supporting local businesses and fostering a vibrant downtown atmosphere makes her a vital part of the DDA team.
We’re grateful to have Dana on board and look forward to seeing the positive impact she continues to make in Downtown Ortonville!
